Ironwood Academy is hosting an ACT Prep Course taught by highly qualified instructors focusing on improving each student's test taking skills and developing strategies to maximize their personal strengths. Students will enjoy ten hours of direct instruction through five in-person classes held on Fridays between 10am and 12pm. Each week, students will be provided with supplemental practice individualized to support their specific needs.
Ironwood Academy is hosting a six-week long songwriting workshop for students to learn the fundamentals of songwriting by class collaborations and assigned lessons. All grade levels are welcome, with or without prior musical experience, and students can participate in-person or remotely. Topics covered include song structures, song styles. melody, rhythm, lyrics, software tools and recording tools. The series will be led by Patrice LeBlanc, an experienced music, theatre and integrated arts specialist with a M.A. degree in Musical Theatre with a Certificate in Music Composition.

Ironwood Academy presents Painting with the Masters, a 2-hour once per week course inspired by famous master artists. Each session will explore a different master artist and recreate a painting using watercolors, acrylics, crayons, and pastels. Students will have fun learning about the artist as well as creating their own painting inspired by the artist's work.
Ironwood Academy hosts weekly robotic classes taught by instructors from the RobotiX Institute on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm. Elementary and beginning middle students engage in a Young Inventors program using VEX IQ. Advanced middle and high school students design and program their robots using VEX V5. Both RobotiX programs of study use research driven educational resources to provide a high-quality STEM education in robotics and programming.
