Students in grades K-12 attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On those days, they receive instruction in four required core academic areas: English, History, Math, and Science, as well as weekly coaching in Emotional Intelligence (EQ). In addition, we provide a half-day option on Wednesdays for academic support and enrichment electives.
Supplementing our core academic curriculum, Ironwood embedded a uniquely curated emotional intelligence component into all aspects of Ironwood Academy designed to build self-esteem, improve communication skills, and increase empathy for others.
Our Enrichment Classes are open to any student, as well as parents - not just those enrolled in our core academic courses. Ironwood invites learners from all across our community to enroll in a wide variety of classes. Enjoy unique fine art experiences, STEM opportunities, world language classes, as well as other enrichment offerings to expand artistic and intellectual interests and to satisfy anyone's thirst for knowledge.
